New car - Not a Ferrari

Hey guys, haven't been by in awhile but I thought I'd stop in and share my new ride with you.
A 2013 Cadillac CTS-V. 6.2 liter supercharged V-8, 556 hp. All I can say is..."Holy Crap!!" This thing is stupid fast. Cadillac advertises that it will go 0-60 in 4 seconds. I'll tell you what, it will go 60-100 in 2 seconds. At 50 mph it will still squawk the tires, at 65 on the highway when you step on it to pass it will throw your head back in the seat. Now I don't advocate speeding, but a driver less responsible then myself might have taken that car over 150 mph on the way home from the dealership. That driver might have noticed that he still had a whole lot of pedal travel left before his foot hit the floor. That driver might also have noticed that the car still felt like it was doing 65 mph. I imagine it would have felt like all the other cars on the highway were doing 25 mph. What are we in a school zone here? LOL.

Hey Jimmy,
No, that snow is not in Singapore. Although I must tell you that Cadillac is a very popular brand in China. I'll be headed to Singapore middle of next month. Then back to Shenzhen. I just pop back into the US once every couple of months to help boost the economy.

Pete- That is one mean looking Cadillac. Never thought I would say that about a Cadillac, but times change.

I dislike the company GM after they got bailed out by the government a few years ago. I like some of their product but dislike the company. Another reason to like ford! Ford did what they had to do to stay afloat.

Taz, I did consider a 575 before settling on the Caddy, but I wanted 4 doors and a back seat and the Caddy won out over the Mercedes or BMW. On both price and performance. That's the grocery getter, when I want an open 2-seater I still have the 308.

Pete- The CTS-V is a much better grocery hauler than a Maranello. Plus service costs virtually nothing and they will even pick up the car for you.

Pete- Really nothing, then. Do they still pick them up for you?
