Help Identify this car : Hungarian?

I was watching Tinker Tailor Soldier Spy and noticd this car a couple times in the opening sceen.

guessing it's either Hungarian [he was in Budapest] or East German/Russian or ???

Interested me as looking 60's-70's and having what looked like a mid-engine with side air intakes.

Pic from cell phone of the TV at the time.

would like to read more about it.

I think it is a Skoda 100, built in Czechoslovakia during the Communist era. The air inlet on the rear wing is visible in your shot. Try a google image search on Skoda 100, there are lots of pics;

Hoho, Skoda 1000 MB! Two streets up from us, there's a pretty good conditioned blue one, always love to see it in the middle of a whole bunch of modern cars.
