Audi RS5: Anyone driven one?

Looking for a fun daily driver. Has to be AWD because of the winter months here in Washington State. Have at least 3 months of potential snow and slippery roads.

Looking at Suzuka Grey Metallic, with Titanium Package, standard brakes, no driver assist option. Can't figure out if the Titanium Package in the US adds the carbon fiber intake manifold? Does in Canada. Also, want sunroof delete option, but not sure if you can get this in the US.

Anyone driven one? Options of course would be C63 Coupe or M3 Coupe, but no AWD. Nissan GTR would be cool, but too low of front end clearance.

2015 458 Speciale', 2014 F12, 2013 458 Rosso Scuderia (To be traded), 2012 MP4-12C, 2010 LP670 SV, 2010 Panamera Turbo, 2009 16M, 2009 Scuderia , 2008 CLK63 Cab., 2002 996 GT2, 1994 RX-7 R2

I almost went that route - Audi makes one hell of a Lamborghini with Audi skins.

Try the Bentley!

Bentley would not be a car I would feel comfortable driving to work, having my employees see such a car.

The Audi looks cheaper than it is, especially since it's a 2 door. Great engine sound, high reving, great transmission, and AWD. Just my thoughts so far. Still pissed that the Europeans get those cool seats. Can't believe the Euro seats are not allowed over here because of side bolster airbags. There are no seat airbags in my Scuderia or 16M? Doubt there are / will be in my 458 either. Just silly.

RS5 is basically as fast as a 360, with a much better tranny, so not a bad daily driver IMO. I must also be able to use the car to call on prospective and current customers. Would love to have an FF, but then I would not be able to make any money on the customers.

A good friend old college roomie owns Blue Grass Motorsports.

If you want a deal he will make you one and I would be willing to bet he can get those seats.

He got Porsche to put a 911 engine in a Cayman years ago.

Thanks for the tip. Could you PM me his name and contact info? I am trying to make the car purchase contingent on getting the lube oil business of the local Audi dealership, but they don't seem to care about my purchasing from them.

Still looking at options. Not happy the Euro sport seats are not available in the U.S., reason why, Audi is too cheap to crash test as U.S. Car with Euro sport seats. Also, U.S cars cannot get the carbon intake manifold.

Once you get used to the Ferrari interiors, it sure makes it hard to find an acceptable daily driver.

Other options would be a pre-owned 2011 ML63, or Cayenne Turbo. Cayenne Turbo's though are really hard to find with the exact options I want. 18-way sport seats, Turbo wheels Burmeister, and Sport pack with the sport steering wheel with paddles.

Yes but it is just so freaking ugly! A guy down the street in my neighborhood has one. If you haven't driven the new ML63, you really need to drive it. Car is a monster, and with the upgraded Designo seats, really a huge improvement.

Right now I am leaning more towards a Cayenne Turbo or Panamera Turbo pre-owned. Cayenne would probably be better for her, as it is smaller, she doesn't like the feel of a big car, and the Panamera's are huge.

I would have to get over my big deal with rock chips and such, unless I want to spend 5k and clear bra the entire car, which I really don't.

No argument there - owned 4 RR's and the RR sport which I thought was the best of the best for a dd.

Problem is my daughter agreed and took it to Denver

They have installed Porsche center caps onto the HRE's. Still searching deals on a nice take off set of Turbo II's or RS Spyder wheels with the Pirelli Soto Zero winter tires.

Well done!

I got the Bentley SS Conv from those guys.

Only issue I had was the front bumper had touch ups which I asked and it was answered in an e-mail incorrectly.

They paid me 1200.00 to cover a respray - stand up manager Steve Vankos and would highly recommend their dealership.

Weve had 3, very different and very nice. Dealer called and told me he had a spot waiting. I told him no way jose..gonna need every penny for the 458.
Plus I love my 2011, not ready to get rid of the tank yet.

P.S.- Damn kids

One reason I bought the car from them was based on your recommendation. They would not negotiate any more, but it is about 95% of book. Miles are a little higher than I am used to, but it worked out with brand new front pads and rotors, and rear pads. Good for another 30-40k miles based on how we drive. CPO gives you a total of 6 years or 100k miles, which gives me piece of mind.

Tried to buy 4 RS5's but the Audi Dealerships are keeping cars up on Autotrader that have been sold already. BS IMO. With the cheap interior they come with, no way are they worth 80k.

Think I will ship non-enclosed this time, and just put it on the top rack. PTT is a big car, not excited about enclosed shipping and dreaming about a truck driver climbing through the window Dukes of Hazzard style.

Good news on 458, guy in front of me got his allocation, so I am next! Should be here by early summer they say.

You did well - plus it's a Porsche so the car will wear and age minimally and you have a 458 on the way

I know the trailer feeling - bought the SS flew down in the afternoon and drove it back that night. 15 hours later it was in my garage only downside was I let the tank get really low and ended up in a crap area needing gas.

Couldn't find the opener - luckily Bentley in B-Hills was still open and the salesman while laughing helped me out.

Oh and I got this at 2:30 a.m.

The RR's used to get better with each new model - now it's just a small modification but the same car and no one can tell the difference.

It was my fault - you will notice I have a bigger appetite than garage space. We made a family swap so I could justify the G55 purchase. My daughter gave up her jeep which my son is just trashing but having a blast.

My daily driver is a 2013 S5 in white with a black interior and white stitching. It's only a supercharged V6 but I think its plenty fast for my daily driver and to be honest with you I prefer its dual clutch tranny to my F430's F1.....

I've driven an RS5, it's a great car! I would have got one but I drive 25k a year and didn't want an 8.
