I was all set to hate it, but I think it actually looks nice.
And I'm not really a big fan of the car to begin with.

Of all the narcissists I know, I love me the most.

It reminds me of the "Green Machine".

Without the dark rims and the CF exterior options IMO the neon like colors (green & yellow in particular) present the MP4-12C like a Lotus. Volcano orange and a black color with gold flex (can't recall the color code) are real sharp on this car.

Lemon yellow or that orange color works for me but the green on the lambo makes it look too much like a large something-or-others-not-lambo

but I wouldn't kick it out of bed/garage.

That's only because the green looking lotus something-or-other Lamborghini is actually a McLaren. A sweet driving experience with so many other color and CF options.

That is just one of those standout colors that you either like or don't like. I don't like it. Just seems like, IMO, the Volcano Orange is the best color on the McLaren.

Life's too short to be unhappy!

Interesting green - but the darker the color on the Mac the better.

It doesn't have a lot of presence to begin with - til the doors go up.

Lambo Lotus and Ferrari guys spec'n their Mac need to leave their past behind.

Champagne how would you spec yours?

I would put mine in silver or black with normal wheel colour (silver, chrome whatever people call it these days)

Dark grey spider - with black gloss wheels all the cf boxes checked and cf mirrors.

Black alcantara with white stitching.

Very nice.

I played with the mclaren car design simulator a while back, don't know if they still have it, that was fun and they had interesting colo/urs for use.

But still not as good as Italia

Perfect only change IMO is the CF splitting the two radiators on the side panels just needs to be the base color. The CF seems to hide the visual on the intake and is a real feature of the McLaren.

That's true.

On my 16M a lot of people don't like the cf below the doors.

It's a personal thing as I added a cf gas cap and door handles - my love affair with cf overrides design

I agree (although they look good in white for some reason).

They do - but for some reason it starts to get the Lotus feel.

A huge fan of white cars - but those angular lines get lost quickly unless once again there is a ton of cf which creates a lot of breaks.

Time for mac to bring on colored cf.

I really like the design of the mclaren spider, much nicer than the 458 spider design. 458 looks a bit rushed and kit car-esque to me.
