OK Doug, I need a few drinks from the bar! Waiting for the kids to go to sleep, we spend half the night wrapping presents, I have to eat the cookies and drink the milk next to the fireplace, kids are setting up the Santa cam (how the hell am I going to explain the power outage to them in the morning). Second thought, forget your bar, I am off to KY!

I was up til 5 ... went to bed for a few hours.

My son raged til 4 - door alarm kept beeping.

Went to see if all was well at 5 and had 6 sleepovers.

Two of which were in the lil shit's bed.

You think it's bad now - wait til they get older and start driving.

I just bought myself a new Ford Edge. Has a great function if you have kids starting to drive. You can give the kid a key and the Edge knows which key is which. You can program the maximum speed, disable the stereo until the seatbelts are buckled, limit the stereo volume to 40% and set a special trip odometer that the kids can't reset.

Life is Good!

That's some pretty slick stuff.

My son is 19 so my main concern is drinking. Not drinking and driving but drinking and getting a MIP - minor in possession.

College cops give these out like water to anyone kid they think might have had content with alcohol.

There is no breath test etc - just a cop assuming and handing out a ticket.

21 is the legal drinking age - it's a joke and lines the police and lawyers pockets.

Agreed ...

At 18 you are an adult under every overstretched hand of the Gov't - accept one!

As a lawyer and pro bono counsel to my fellow tifosi, technically, the U.S. gov't considers certain yutes (i.e., think "My Cousin Vinny") as adults in more than one overstretched hand of the Gov't (e.g., children (i.e., under the age of 18) prosecuted as adults for other crimes (e.g., murder).

I went to bed at 3:30, the boss stayed up until I do not know when!

Been there and done that! The first time the alarm did that it was about 2am and my wife (i.e., born and raised in Bogota) just about had a heart attack and if someone was actually robbing us, it would have been easy because she just about squeezed the life out of me! For someone coming from such a violent city during the late 80's and early 90's as a yute, paranoia is the status quo.

We had to reset the system and the last time, the main power battery backup needed to be replaced.

I am looking forward to that day! Ah, the memories and one of the great things about having sibling friends with benefits (i.e., it is not a recent phenomena).

Only 2? Grasshopper, we need to talk. I think I should chaperone next year! Free of charge.

On second thought, only 2 out of 6? Can you tell us how were the other 4?

Maybe I am the grasshopper?

Are you kidding? I cannot wait. Maybe you should read some of my posts from other threads and then you might just understand.

I was a divorced Dad - picked my kids up every single day from school and took them to hockey and swim practice before school.

Anyway

The other 4 probably were part of the rotation later in the week.

The chaperone gig is all yours - you may prefer visiting him at Ole Miss.

Last night he took my car to pick up his newest love - gotta admit she is the best of the best.

Super model in real life - should be interesting.

My boss is out by 10:00 - at this time next year I will be bottle feeding and changing diapers.

Rams season is now officially over - Kronke is begun the removal of heads.

For the life of me why he waited so long is beyond me.

I think a lot of the reasons there were so many injuries is guys were playing at half speed or with little desire.

Very well played Sunday night game - if either team has a chance at the end of the 4th quarter it's all anyone can ask for.

The Giants sorta went into full time defense mode - Manning magic saved em.

Other than the 3rd Quarter, Sunday's game was the Giants best of the season. Manning was just brilliant.

Manning was brilliant - but that offensive line is like a brick wall.

Giants have a lot of play makers.
