Ferrari Hairdryer...

I received an email from my wife saying..." I found my new hairdryer”. It’s a hairdryer made by a company that salons use (my wife is an esthetician) and sent me a pic via her BB.

So naturally I go on the web and look for this thinking, hey...her Birthday is in July….cool I will check it out.

So I get on the web site and start looking around and find the section for the launch. There I open the PDF file to see what it is…..and….sadly to my horror, the last picture on the bottom of the advertising right above the words FERRARI is a picture of a Corvette……SAD…..

Oh well, I guess some people and companies are just not meant for greatness.

I just put my head near the Tubi exhausts and get a REAL 12 cylinder hair dry: None of this ersatz stuff

IF not Ferrari then the last line in their ad-sheet is really liable "Proud sponsors of the Ferrari Challenge racecar.." dated about 2010.

This wouldn't surprise me as Ferrari has about licensed everything from after shave spash to limited ed. stereo speakers...

Garage
I think it is real Boys, I was offered the above hair dryer from a friend of mine she is a hair dresser over a month ago lol, kind of pricey for a hair dryer so It must be Ferrari.

I declined, I informed them I owned a 348 not a 355

Funny thing I use to poke fun at the 355 guys about this, 3 years ago I mocked up this below lol

Excellent marketing attention in fixing this!

Well......

I received an email last week (same night) saying thank you (the generic reply) and today I went back to the website for fun to check the marketing PDF and THEY FIXED IT......

Very Impressive......I thought it was going to fall through the cracks in a lost inbox somewhere but no....they did something about it.....I can just imagine a Manager in the marketing dept losing it to the person who created the PDF.

Either way, good job fixing it (if you're reading this....)

This is proof that sometimes, only one email can make a difference.

Yes I agree, I am not a cheap person but with a $300 price tag for a hair dresser (at their discount supply store) and $400 for regular customers it a little expensive for a hair dryer.

Update....

I came home last night to find a box at my front door.

My wife said, what did you order now? I said nothing.....I opened the box and this is what I found inside.

A thank you card, 3 Bottles of mens hair product (glad I'm not bald) and an official Ferrari hat.
