Tough call

Couldn't decide if this fit better in "modern" or "classic" models. Saw this beauty down in Fredricksburg while Celeste and I were visiting her folks:

My Spider (across the street) drew a crowd the entire time we were there. I felt bad as no one seemed to know that my car is far less valuable than an F40! Must have been the red color. Guess it's true what they say about Resale Red....

The really frightening part is someone actually took the time and spent quite a bit of money to create that thing.

Some say I am obsessed. I say it's just a focused passion.

Boxer, now that I own a real one, I'm not sure what is more intense; wanting one or having one. But you hit the nail on the head - that thing IS frightening!

Do you think Fiero enthusiasts (not sure if they actually exist) get upset when they see something like this?

If they did they would be idiots. The entire reason behind the easily replaced plastic body panels was that it was meant to be a designer car, like a paper doll you change clothes on.

I remember chasing down a GT-40 one time, it drove into a car lot so I followed. When I realized it was a Fiero I walked away. But it was well done.

So, ya think that F40 body work would fit a 308? Just kidding?

I'm thinking of converting my TR and 360 to a Fiero GT.

Anyone know where I can source the body panels?

Pontiac went out of business.
