I got to sit in an Afla 8C Spider

After getting to drool over 3 8c's a few months back I was very suprised when I was asked yesterday if I'd like a look around an 8C Spider. As the meet was hastely arranged I only had the use of my camera on the phone so the quality of the photo's isn't the best but I hope it gives you some idea of the beauty of the car. It was finished in Pearl white with wine red leather and carbon interior.
If I'm completely honest I still prefer the hardtop. What a timeless beauty this is going to be though.

Boxer what about an 8c for your stable then I can be even more jelous
You'd have 2 of my most favourite cars then.

I've decided if I win the loto, I'll have an F40, an 8C, an Abarth 500 (was in one of those last week ) and of course a lancia Evo FE.
Not asking much I know

They are beautiful but for roughly the same $$$ you can get a 430 Scuderia and it is a much better drivers car. Second reason is I don't think the 8C's handle that well. I went on a private tour of one of the 3 approved Ferrari bodyshops (approved to work on CF and aluminum chassis) and it was full of 8Cs that had decided to engage in a bit of off-roading.

I saw my first 8C at last year's FCA's Spring Thaw. I was surprised at how small it appeared to me in the flesh. The wheels/calipers caught my eye, as well as the "stance".
