Not quite the real story but a nice story anyway. The cars in the barn were known to exist to a small handful of traders in Portugal. The son of the guy who originally collected and stashed them away is now quietly selling them off. A few people snuck into the barn, took a few pictures, they ended up on the internet and the story grew and got twisted.

The guy just bought them, drove them around more a couple of months, and then stashed them in the warehouse. Really pretty bizarre.

The one pictured int eh pdf file attached was one of two that was "discovered" outside of Lisbon a few years ago.

Not even 1 Ferrari in sight though... How disappointing
.

A horse is a horse, of course, of course, and no one can talk to a horse of course. That is, of course, unless the horse is the famous Mister F.

Kinda suspected there might be more to it than that! Still interesting story nonetheless....

+1. The idea of buying and just stashing a horde of cars does have a certain appeal....

Are you parking them on the front lawn, taking the tires off, shooting the windows out, and using cinderblocks to prop them up ?

If you're a redneck in the Amish country do you put dead horses on cinder blocks in your front yard?

OK. I think I've got it. If you have 10 cars on the front lawn you are a redneck but if you have them in a barn you are a "collector".

How about half-way? If you have them in the backyard under tarps?
