SEMA Show 09

Hi guys

Just came back from 4 days in Las Vegas at the SEMA show. My feet still ache but I have loads of pictures if anyone is interested, sadly none of Ferraris though. Lots of serious muscle cars, custom rides and 4WDs.

Let me know if you wanna see!

Hmm,

Interesting mixture of the ridiculously butt-ugly and the uncompromisingly, almost pornographically powerful...

A horse is a horse, of course, of course, and no one can talk to a horse of course. That is, of course, unless the horse is the famous Mister F.

I agree, you wonder what motivates some people. IMHO I think a lot of it is about 'more money than sense'. There is no accounting for taste.

Some of the stuff was pretty cool, for example I quite like the Toyota Tundra with the BBQ system in the back and the pearl handles (not sure about the 40' screen though). I also like the off-road racing stuff like the F150 Raptor and the Baja racers. The blue/black Mustang convertible looked pretty awesome in the flesh. Most of the classic stuff was also nice. Some of these guys are extremely talented, they just need a better 'focus' LOL!

Apparently exhibitor attendance was about a 1/3 down.

There were some F-cars, Astons and Lambos, mostly on the Dub Magazine stand but it was pure sacrilege . I could not bring myself to photograph them. I did however photograph...

@1 True, as clearly demonstrated in many of the above pics
@2 Agreed, love the Ford GT, some of the 'old skool' muscle cars!
@3 Also agreed, imagine what they could do restrained by a bit of taste (see sub 1...)

Sure... as long as you make sure to tell me what the h*ll this is supposed to be?!
