another drive

recently returned from another cracking drive through the english lakes, the little lady on song as ever!favourite roads ,sunshine, dry tarmac(a rarity in the lakes!) saw loads of wicked cars numerous aston's,gt continentals and porsches were like everywhere!saw two ferrari's a 360 and mine!the 360 was in a local town.
was of course in rosso, and a spyder lucky so and so!
anyway the 308 seems to have been a great buy,and miles ahead of the escort mk1 i used to have. although i have a soft spot for mk1 and mk2 escorts!having owned them since i passed my test!and done plenty of night rallies in them!in fact this stood me in good stead the other night as my brakes failed in the 308 going into a 90 left at about 55mph!i think the handbrake had stuck on cos it felt like the back was pulling down!it must have boiled the fluid!anyway no harm done, apart from my underwear!nothing against porsches but when i pull in to the local garage to fill up (often)and use other minerals, when a porsche pulls in and the driver see's the little lady they usually make a sharp exit!is this a complex? i quite fancied a classic 911 but if it makes you behave so strangely i don't think i'll bother!anyway sign off for now, neil

Handbrake on the 308 can be a bit tricky. Probably worth having it adjusted. Also check ot see when the last tiem the brake fluid was changed. Might be worth doing so.

Great to see you are enjoying the 308
