Nights garage Too much?

Howdy boys, so a while back I mentioned that I got the inspiration to fix up Half of my garage where I store the Ferrari. At first it was just to be tape mud little sanding and a coat of paint, as time progressed and beer consumption increased I came out with this.

The initial part 90% was completed in one week the detailing took a little longer like adding the Italian colors to the trim on the roof, getting wall and floor decals from my buddy Glen(aka Ilrglen), putting up all the custom shelving, Clovathaneing the floor this takes a week to dry, and just all the small odds and ends including running the halogens which are on a remote control that sits in the car when I pull up lol and Hot and cold running water, I can wash my car in my garage it has a full drain system. I think it turned out quite good and now when I show people the car in my garage makes it all worth while, people actually gasp in awe, it makes it look like a million bucks I highly recommend it.

The Clovathane is a hard epoxy finish like glass, super durable it shine like the floor is wet all the time, glad I used it despite the strong smell and curing time, reminds me of a showroom floor. I installed the shelves a little higher (45 inches) than the car which makes it look way low to the ground.

I have a few things left to do like Plasma tv in the corner and install my stereo system, just waiting for my small Ferrari decals so I can trick them out a bit, oh ya and my new bright red tool chest arriving next week. The other thing I really would like to do is have the stereo turn on and play the group Yello "Oh YA" made famous from Ferris Bullers day off every time I open the door LMAO.

Question to you guys is

Is the draft taps going to far overboard or should I install a fridge too? I mean I own a club it's almost expected of me to have this in my garage

lol that's pretty cool. There is no "overboard" when renovating your garage. I especially like the HUGE Bull-head. At least... it looks huge.

Nicely done! I am half way through my own project and I agree there isn't a over the top limit. Don't forget the wall mount shop vac and a couple of retractedable drop cords with lights hung by the garage openers so you can have easy light for detailing engine and working on the car.

Very good, i'd like to do something similar myself, but not much point when my garage is always used as dumping ground for A)things we haven't got round to throwing away yet, B) dozens of cans of paint and other decorating or DIY equipment, C) Kids ride on toys, and now my daughter is 19 months old and wants to be mobile, no doubt we'll have even more ride ons and trikes for her

NL Very nice indeed.

Oh how I wish I had all my restoration work done so I could do something like that.
Alas a few years away yet.

Looks Awesome Roberto. Makes me jealous. And throwing in the Ferrari will definately make the house sell faster. When I sold my old house people looking at it would be like, "Does that car come with it?" My response always was, "It can."

To answer your question. Nothing at all wrong with having fresh keg beer on tap in your man space. I think its a must. It better be very cold when I come visit Nothing worse than a hot beer.

Sorry Andrew but you are so very wrong. In my books NO beer is far worse than a hot beer.

However, I am pretty certain the NightLife knows a thing or two about throwing keggers.

Hey Night Life,
Your garage is the business. I absolutely love the idea of the Ferris Bueller music playing as the door lifts. Were you joking or is this a real idea?? I have just moved back into my house after a 6 month renovation and would love to incorporate that idea into the garage door!!

One thing I did (must take pic of it) was build an aquarium in the kids playroom and you can look right through and into the garage to see the 360 inside. Kids playroom - Adults playroom.....!

One quick Q - where did you source the big prancing hours symbols for the walls - I definitely want one of those.

And on a related topic - anybody know where you could buy a Ferrari light box - like the old fashioned signs with bulbs inside that would light up the Ferrari sign...???

Cheers (this forum is great!)
Barry.

Roberto, you've inspired me. I was at Silverstone for the F1 today and bought a 8 foot by 6 foot Ferrari flag to go on the back wall of my garage just in front of the 308's nose. That's it for the time being as I'll have to tidy it up a bit before I can do anything else.

Holy Shit Archie. You could just about use that flag as a car cover.

I wanted to get a bigger one, but that was the largest they had. You've given me an idea though, my car cover has the prancing horse on it, I could just stick that to the wall instead
