Looking for my former '72 246 GT....

So I bought #02866 in 1979 in LA and had it for 5 years. Fly Yellow, Black Interior. All original. Had 19,500 miles when I bought it and about 25k when I sold it (sigh).

Checked the Dino registry and found that after the party I sold it to in San Diego, it was later sold to Japan. Then, no info after that, even though it looks like something new occurred in 2010 like a transfer of ownership.

Suggestions on how to possibly trace it down that you guys use?

Thanks,

(PS- that car in 5 years never skipped a beat or saw any damage from casual driving to track days with FOCA at Riverside International Raceway and Willow Springs.)

Yeah I saw that. I think European Auto Sport (also was known as Symbolic Motor Cars) put that info in. Probably held the car till 88 to see what prices would do.
Anyway communicated with the registry on that.

European Auto Restoration was Michael Sheehan's old shop, Symbolic is in San Diego and AFAIK they aren't affilliated
