Faithful repro Dino scredrivers

Anyone missing these items from the tool kit, send me a PM. I have commissioned a very small batch based on the original Dino screwdriver. I believe these were pretty much standard throughout the L,M & E series cars tool kits.

The handles were moulded from originals and have the correct V12000 logo on them, they also have the correct shanks and insertion distance. Very carefully reproduced

I received my screw drivers from Tony this morning and they are fantastic. I know the effort that was put into these to get them as close to perfect as possible and it has been very worthwhile. Tony used a set of my originals to get every detail correct.

Anyone missing these items will be delighted with them. Unlike other repro's the shafts sit exactly as they do on the originals and end very close to the tip of the handle. The handles are flawless reproductions in terms of shape, size and colour and have the raised V12000 marking as per the originals.

Top work again Tony. My sincere thanks

Tony (246dno) has now finished the marathon of reproducing the tool kit. It has been a long and challenging road to get the details correct and find suppliers willing to deal in small volumes and who can deliver the required quality. The end results are outstanding so many, many thanks for your refusal to be defeated on this Tony

The late E series tool and jack bags are astonishingly close to the originals. Unfortunately the original Fiocchi snap fasteners are long sing unobtainium so we found a very good alternative made by another Italian company called FIMMA.

All of the tools in this kit are reproduction items which were made using a set of my originals. The jack is an original.

Thank you Iain, they were certainly a challenge.

I have over 3000 emails in relation to these not to mention the hours and hours spent sourcing the correct suppliers, parts etc, and hours making and finishing some of them, so yes it has been a marathon.

I have to say that when I did find the right people over here, the small cottage industry is alive and kicking.

Thanks to you for the loan of your tools to copy and entrusting me with your valuable originals, hopefully these can be retired to the vault and you can now proudly display the new ones in the next show.

Tony

Well done

I don't have a Dino, but they are so beautiful, I'd like the tools.

Quite an accomplishment.

Sorry if you have gotten duplicate messages. This is my first time on this site and it is a bit confusing. I wondered if you have any of the reproduction Dino screwdrivers. My email is [email protected]. Please let me know if there is any available and price. Thank you very much.
Regards,
Tom
