Dino Fiat

Is this the right section of F-life to discuss Dino-Fiat's?

If so, does anyone know if Maserati wire wheels with 42 hubs will fit a Dino Fiat?

Thanks.

I had a Dino 2400 GT. The bolt pattern on the Fiat Dinos was 5 x 108 mm. Will the bolt on adapters for the wire wheels fit that bolt pattern? First question you need to answer. Note the wheels on the Fiat Dino were 6.5"x14" and I imagine the Maserati wire wheels were narrower than that.

Terry, at first I thought that was your private parking lot with collections !!!

Poor neighbors, could not understand these Americans ?

Back to Dino, I just cannot forget of Dino Spider 2400 and 2000. Came across few times of getting them.

More discussions of these cars would be great.

Jimmy- She felt just like a smaller Daytona with similar steering, shift and brake feel, driving position, and sound. Even accelerated well because of the low gearing. Engine was missing its Dinoplex when I got her, but an MSD CD unit got her running really smoothly. Sold her when I bought the 308 GTS and the buyer's son took her out, revved her while she was cold, and dropped a valve head.

Looked at picking up another one here in the US when the 2.4 coupes were $7-10K, but no garage space.

Older Dino w 42 hubs; but, worried about caliper clearance. Boranni tells me there's something different, but not sure what. They also are ready to sell me a brand new set of rims. A little steep. I like the maser rims 'cuz they're 15" diameter, and the width is 6.5. But not giving any consideration to the offset which is a big mistake as the car could handle terrible.

Hey,

I have a 2000 Cpe which I started to restore, but due to too many other activities, I hardly have time. I am getting the last bits in order to have it 100% original.
The interior is complete but needs to be restored. As this car has lived most of its life in California, the car has not too much rust. (The car is almost completely stripped!)
I am still waiting for following bits, but they will be delivered with the car.
4 hubcaps Fiat, left taillight reflector, Bertone shield for dashboard, connection part in between gearlever and linkage.
As it is an early car, Dinoplex was not delivered with the car, but can be delivered. Original tail silencers can be delivered with the car. (There is a small star in the windscreen)

You can reach me on [email protected] Regards, Wim

Wim- Sounds like a good deal for someone. I really enjoyed mine while I had her and she was very practical with lots of storage space.

(There is a small star in the windscreen, bt it can be repaired) As soon as the 2000 is sold, I will start on my 2400 Cpe, which has to be become a very special car but always with respect to the original lines of the Giugiaro lines. Engine, interior, suspension, wheels, slight body mods will be part of the transformation
