Is there a police report and if so is there a corresponding police report number?

What is your involvement in this car?

Without this info, I am having a difficult time taking this seriously. Sorry, we see these things quite a bit.

Yes...take this very seriously...

I am the owner of this beloved car...Metropolitan Police Number 5620312/12

Any ideas to track her down would be much appreciated - have networked as wide and as far as I can but the more the better, especially in Asia where some seem to be believe the car might well have been or is in the process of being shipped...

Thanks so much...if you let me have your email I can send you more details/photos etc

Best

Sean

Sean- Is she RHD or LHD? Might give you some idea of where she is going. Cannot get away with it in the US now, but in the 70s there was a theft ring for Ferraris and they were changing the chassis/serial number from the all odd numbers of V12s then, to an even number. The same could be done on a Dino 246 in China or elsewhere by changing the last number one higher or one lower. So I would have interpol on the look-out for a registration on a Dino 246 GTS with SN 07211 or 07213. Even 07219 might be a possiblity as the easiest to forge over the 2 in the last digit.

Thanks for input re. chassis numbers. I will inform police. I now have the engine, body and gear box numbers for the car and can provide them to anyone who believes they have come across anything suspicious.

Thanks

Sean
