2nd Dino restored

I collected the car yesterday after a 9 month process from purchase through restoration. I am absolutely delighted with the car and have never had so many admiring looks, positive comments or thumbs up gestures from other drivers or pedestrians with any other F car I've owned. It seems everyone loves an orange Dino

I'll post more pics later but for now here are the pic's Terry's been waiting for of the old and new Rosso Dino gals together.

Magnificent! The first and the latest in this bloodline in the same stunning colour. So good to see beautiful Dinos being properly brought back to life. I have a friend in SA whose stable includes 4x964RS' that he has brought back to life and so I can totally understand the passion to rescue specific tipos and bringing them to life better than when new. Wonderful!

Thank you for the pictures. Your Dino is classic. I love the colour (on both)

Enjoy

Color is brilliant on the Dino.

Do you have a picture of all 3 Dinos together?

Iian- That Rosso Dino looks beautiful on both cars. The 458 is the first of the modern V8s that shows such a clear ancestry to the Dino 206/246, even if it does look like it takes up about twice the volume.

Thanks for all the positive comments.

212 - I intend to keep all three cars.

Scott - the pic of all three together will have to wait until next Spring when they are all completed but I will take a group photo when they are all done.

Terry - the 458 looks huge next to the 246. It's much higher and much, much wider.

By next spring, won't it be 4-5 Dinos?

Only if I come across another "barn find" car at sensible money which is very unlikely.

excellent twins. Really makes the older and newer well respected to see the similarities if I could state. Makes the expanse of years \seem only months difference.

IF you get another Dino....what color then?

Here are some pics of Harvey's brilliant work which is unfortunately hidden away from view on the car now.

Harvey is brilliant. Ever consider getting him to strap a pair of twin turbos on the little V6 to give it a bit more go?

I'm not sure the chassis is up to handling a lot more power without a significant update to the steering and suspension. It's a superb piece of packaging though and makes you wonder what Ferrari could achieve with a modern, compact transverse mounted V6 in Porsche Cayman sized bodyshell.
