I've heard different things. Car and Driver (I think it was C&D) says about 150k USD, whereas I've heard from other sources over 250k USD.

I'm sure the price will be around $180,000 like the F430, but with the premiums it will resell in the $250,000+ range .....price will drop by the time I can afford one

Its a good/bad boat. The cars of now will become more affordable in the time we can pay for them The bad news is....the waiting.

Oh definitely...the really bad part is that the ability to choose one is going to be really really difficult.

Why choose just one? Or even rotate...

I'd love to pick up a 3x8 and later a 512....then sell the 3x8 (Unless I've become really attached to it) and get a 355...then maybe add a 575 to the stable....Who knows? Haha

Ferrari "California"???

The car looks really nice, the design looks fresh!
However, the "California" name sound really "cheap".
Why "Ferrari California"???
Can't Ferrari name cars now???

????

Ferrari has used California before. California has largest concentration of Ferraris in North America, and is one of the most expensive states to live in. Hollywood is in California as well as San Francisco. It's hardly "cheap."

I think the 430 and F149 California appeal to entirely different audiences.

I'd prefer the Cali and Ferrari's FR GT cars.

Without trying to interpret somebody else'w writing, maybe the question was why Ferrari is so "uncreative" in finding another name other than naming it again the way they did a previous model already ?!

I would name the car Ferrari "Portofino"

California is a Ferrari tradition and the name is evocative of fun, sun, and glamour. This is why they chose it.

Therefore if one is mentioning to be an owner of a Ferrari California the other needs to ask which "California" ?!

I would have named it the Ferrari Venice as the depreciation on this model will put you underwater quickly.

Boxer is hilarious!

Boxer is hilarious!
Anyway, I must clarify when I meant "California", I mean for the car only not about any other related with "California"! Just does not sound right to used on a luxury super car!
