California Top Down - Windows up or Down

I've never had a convertible before, so I am curious what most people do. When you drive with the top down on a Ferrari California, are your windows up or down?

Almost always up. Easy to talk, no wind. Also at lights and intersections I don't feel like people can just reach in. Often I have AC or Heat on as well. The windows help keep in some cool AC.

Depends if I have a passenger I want to talk with or not.

Try both and see which you prefer. If you have windows down there is a lot more wind swirling around you.

I have never owned a Cali, but I have had numerous convertibles. I always drive with windows down except when cruising at motorway speeds, when I put them up.

Best wishes, John

Down. Always. Woman told me driving with top down ,windows up is like having sex with socks on- you can do it but you look awful silly !

I have regretted often, but repented never. Is this a good thing? -Enzo Ferrari

Analogies are stupid, it's like a women always told me, driving with the top down and smashing your front windshield out, is like driving without a front windshield. While you do get more wind in your faces, it's just stupid.

Some want more wind, some want to talk. There is no right answer to windows up or down. There is no good analogy to justify up or down. If you want more wind, smash out your front windshield.
