First Ferrari

Hi All,

I just purchased my very first Ferrari California. Its a 2010. I did not want to start brand new and take the equity hit, plus I want to get to know the brand as an owner before I jump into brand new. I want to make sure I am not missing anything so I welcome any feedback, comments, or advice (constructive) as I join the family.

Welcome to the forum and the club, you've come to the right place.
Of course, many here will say without pictures, you're not truly an owner....

My two cents are:
First penny - download an owners manual to help get familiar with your car.
Second penny - drive the heck out of your car and enjoy it!

Of all the narcissists I know, I love me the most.

I'm currently eyeing my first Ferrari too...a 2000 silver 360 coupe.

Congratulations on your purchase. I am sure you will enjoy it. Ditto this forum (though activity level is a bit low just now )

Best wishes, John

Dealer Photos

Here are a couple dealer photos of the car. I will take some in-person pics when it arrives at my house in a couple days. It is being delivered via covered-carrier. I am so excited. I cleaned out my junk in my garage and I have put my commutter car outside (2013 VW GLI Sedan).

Thanks for the recommendation. I downloaded the huge document and plan to print it and binder it to keep handy.

I will be honest, paddle -shift is a foreign concept and getting adjusted is learning to ride a bike.

Thanks. I am hoping to learn how to drive a Ferrari while driving the California.

When I was getting ready for my F430 I went through the garage and got rid of anything that might scratch the car. By the time I was done I had a very very clean an minimalist garge. Congratuations on buying a very nice car.

LOL, that sounds like Saturday. I had very nice bikes. Now some needy family will have very nice bikes because I donated them to my church!
