Anyone heard about this recall?

Ferrari recalls 3,000 cars due to trunk latch

"Ferrari is recalling 3,082 of its exotic 458 sports cars in the United States because a defect with an interior latch means there's a danger that someone could become trapped in the trunk."

Federal law. And no it isn't faulty, Ferrari was too dumb to make it comply. It has been law for years and they managed to comply until the 458.

It is in response to incidents of people being forced into and being locked in trunks. They have to provide a way out and it needs to glow in the dark. Pretty simple really.

Hey, quite a few years ago they had a horn button recall. Seems the horn buttons didn't have the little federal horn logo on them.
A pre recall button and a post recall button.

The feds get excited about some pretty stupid things.

Very important - without the horn logo, how on earthy are you expected to know it's a horn button?

Best wishes, John
