At 2 am, you are just trolling for drunks, but likely still not the 458 driver's fault. Always sad to see.

Sad to see, no matter who's fault. Saying that, looking at the condition of the wreck, not exactly your normal crash level.

I understand that was in Monterey Park, CA., on New Ave. and Garvey intersection area. I know the area very well because I used to live nearby as I was attending Cal State LA briefly to conquer science classes to apply to dental schools.

Those streets are relatively flat, straight, and wide roads (typical suburbs) laid out like checkerboard pattern. I believe the speed limit at the time was 35mph or so. Considering all that, the results seem to show little braking at best. The 458 driver who perished was in his early 20's (23 ?).

These happen way too often. RIP.

The driver side looks like a jaws of life extraction. Is there a weight saving inbalance removing necessary occupant protection when side impact occurs?

The central structure of the 458 looks remarkably intact. Seat belt not used?
