Monaco tunnel Ferrari 458 crash ends on sidewalk

Ferrari 458 Italia making a Monaco Tunnel Run under the Fairmont Hotel lost control and went over the concrete barrier at a 25mph zone. Looking at some videos with supercars making these tunnel runs at high speed it is easy to see how this Ferrari 458 ended up on the other side of the barrier on the sidewalk.

3 pictures and video in the gallery

Fits easily into the category of more money than brains or skill.

Jimmy- He can always buy another one with an exhaust that is very loud at half the speed, but he probably will not like that solution.

I'm sure he's been thrown into a medieval dungeon by now. The Monaco police do not take kindly to this sort of thing, and there's plenty of storage space under the rock.

People still speed but police laser traps in that tunnel are not rumours, they are very real. Just so everybody knows.

Drive through that tunnel daily. The issue is there are road works towards the end going towards the port and the lanes go narrow. And since the corner is quite blind I am told there was stopped traffic on ten exit where they are building the new yacht club.

Oh and to add 22.50 euros fine is the normal in Monaco for speeding I should know have paid a couple.
And also to add the police cells in Monaco are the cleanest and nicest I have ever sat in when drunk or sober not a dungeon in sight.
Ask those who know before making your own stories up. Facts from experience

Paul, you crack me up.

Of course, never been to Monaco myself, but I suppose their image must be maintained to a certain standard to have the cells to be nice.

And your speeding fine ? ....very hospitable.

Not so kind here, but then there is always Swiss.

You think the Ferrari went over the Barrier or went through one of the gaps in the barrier that we see in the video.

Mark. I was wondering how it got there too.
Paul. Nice to know that the jail is a 5 star rated accommodation.
I think the video shows reckless driving and extremely rude and dangerous situation for pedestrians. Not funny.

For sure went through the gap.
During the car show the other weekend there where quite a few crashes around Monaco due to reckless driving.
