Col de Turini

Went up Col de Turini in Monica over the weekend, weather by the sea was close to 20.
Was half surprised to see some snow on the tops above 1400 mtrs. see below:
Was a super drive and since it was an early run, never caught a single car until we got closer to civilisation, so was able to set my own "pace"

Fabulous pics, reminds me of my drive up the Julierpass as few weeks ago. Black 458 looks magnificent against the snowy backdrop!

You did the right thing, Habsy!

Col de Turini is very often left alone by the masses. It's a real Mecca for spirited drivers! Aaaaaaaah the 458 looks absolutely killing in black!!!

Here's a pic of my motorcycle club doing the Turini with snow on the col.

It's just 1 hour from my house to the top, and a simply super drive.

Paul, just checked the Google map, must be nice is way too mild ! Very, very ....almost ideal turf to enjoy. Must be your playground .

Over here, about an hour from Tokyo to the west, we have this mountainous terrain called Hakone near Mount Fuji, very much like that, albeit in different settings. This is a favorite place for avid drivers touring on weekends. Unfortunately, I do not think the pace here is not the kind of pace you are talking about.
