My first Ferrari... had to be a Special(e) one!

More than 18 months after placing my deposit to an, at that time, unknown car, my 458 Speciale has reached the dealership. Below are some pictures taken by the sales guy upon arrival, since I'm out of town. I will take delivery as soon as I'm back, most likely Saturday afternoon... so more news will follow soon thereafter!

Funny story: the car was flown in on the same plane as the first LaFerrari for Dubai. Not bad company, I'd say!

Man, that rear 3/4 view is just to die for... looking at the hips of the 458 just never gets old.

Congrats!

Hi Tom, well done and enjoy! And no strip? I think we might see a lot of 'stripeless' Speciales'. Did you toy around with stripes and not find what you wanted or did you just see it cleaner and less cluttered?

Cheers
Michael

Kind of makes it a sleeper, too. If any 458 is a sleeper. Might surprise a McLaren.

Hi Michael,

I did toy around with the strip, but since there's 'a lot going on' already at the front with the air vents, flaps, bigger grille and pronounced bonnet shape, I decided against it. And having see the car in the flesh yesterday, I'm happy with the results so far!

Below some interior posts and some different angles...

Tom.

Looks great. I am wondering if the front vents can be done in body color? Works with a white car, any other color I guess you get the carbon front vents. I am going to see if I can get a special request and move the front emblem to the normal hood location. See the newer cars have moved it forward onto the bumper for some reason.

interesting the emblem comment. i thought they were all forward of the hood, but they aren't. my 328 has it forward of the hood as does the 348 and F12. but most of the others have it on the hood.
