FS: Brand new IPE Full Valvetronic Exhaust System

Sorry for the repost...meant to post this in the "Current V8" and not the "Modern V8" section!

Hey guys, long story short, I was piling on mods for a supposed inbound steal-of-deal 458 Spyder but I guess I got way ahead of myself and the seller got cold feet. Highly doubtful I will ever get another deal like that one (been a month now), so I have decided to just sell the parts.

This is a BRAND NEW, never installed full IPE system. I opened the box only to take a few pics for the boards. I can open up every single piece but didn't want to ruin the packaging / opening experience for the next guy but I can at the request of prospective buyers.

Specs:
Remotely controlled valvetronic mufflers
3 valve modes: auto, opened, closed.
Made from T304 stainless steel
Performance tested
Both titanium & black triple outlet tips (I think the dual tips look really lame & klunky)

Sound clip:
IPE Ferrari 458 Italia Exhaust Start up & Fly By - YouTube

Dyno by IPE
http://ipe-f1.com/dyno_Ferrari458.html

I paid 11k +shipping
Please remember I got the special triple-tip outlets in both stealth black and titanium. These are $300 each just for the standard dual tips, mine are custom tailored by IPE no obnoxious wing logos.

Asking $10,500
I prefer local pickup! Just trying to recoupe some capital, thanks for looking.

Last pic is by Innotech, just to show what the full system looks like.

Still has cats, or straight pipes? Very similar to Novitec's sound. Nice!

Sports cats (you can see it in the last pic). Straight pipes will throw a CEL on the 458!

If you know of anyone who is looking to upgrade their exhaust, please send them my way.

Maybe you should =)

You'll be saving $1.6k++ if you take this off my hands and I'll even throw in shipping to you.

That's going to be a mighty long, long wait. We're talking 2yrs out at the soonest, and that's if they finally decide to do the private unveil this year.

You must be a very special client, because none of the dealerships in my area or SoCal have any concrete info. They have only informed me that there might be a private unveiling sometime this year for interested buyers already on their consideration list.

I am pretty high on the list at my Dealer. An F-Life member in Europe here has already put down his deposit and spec'd his. USA clients should start seeing their cars mid Spring next year.

If you are number 3, should have your car by end of 2014. Info will be out in September.

Rumors are the car will have, in addition to all the normal Scuderia interior carbon, a carbon roof. Guessing US hp will be at 600, 610 for Europe.

Also guessing the price will be close to 400k?

Question then becomes do you upgrade to a V12 instead at that point =) I don't mind keeping my 09 Scuderia and getting an F12. The Italia looks never did it for me anyways...more elegant/curvy than angry/racecar.

Guess that is the question. I am working a deal on a 9980 mile Scuderia coupe right now. I already have an insane 12 cylinder in the 670-4 SV. Would love to have an F12, but like my SV better looks wise, and so do all the neighbor kids who come knocking on my door wanting to see it.

Would love to have an FF for a daily driver, but it just won't work with my employees / customers, regardless of what Peter and Paul say.

With the Italia, you really need to sport sills, or have the matte wrapped, and the darker forged wheels. Makes a difference.

Of all my cars, that's the one all the kids like, sounds fantastic with LNB Stage 2 exhaust. Drives like a big car, but it is.
