Paid deposit on 2011 458, please advise ?

Folks,

I just put a deposit down on this car for a close friend.

2011 Used Ferrari 458 Italia 458 Italia at Ferrari of Houston, TX, IID 9562071

The car is on consigment (the owner traded it for a convertible) and has bought 4 cars from the dealership.

We agreed a price of 255K.

Comments or feedback ?

Thanks,
Shiv

Can you explain what you mean by, you put a deposit down for a close friend? So you're buying this car for your friend, or just helping on the down payment?

Beautiful 458 btw.

Maserati GranTurismo MC - Giallo yellow
Porsche 911 GT3 RS - black with orange accents - wife's car
F355 Berlinetta - Giallo Modena, 6-speed manual, carbon sport seats -recently traded in
Porsche Cayenne Turbo S

Sorry for not being clear.

My friend and I both agreed we would get a car each when we hit a certain milestone.

But he is not a car guy, he just likes them, unlike me who is fundamentally obsessed :-)

Anyway, I got myself a 612 (see my other posts) and he wanted an MP4-12C. I got him to test drive a 599 and he forgot about the McLaren. Then I got him to drive a 458 and that was that. He wants it as a daily driver so navigation/bluetooth/iphone integration was a big deal for him.

After looking at a lot of cars, I chose this one and we put the deposit down. And hence my post to see what you guys think of the car, price and options.

Cheers,
Shiv

Nice 458!

Price seems about right - for a dd you may want to find one with a lift system depending on the local roads etc.

FF 16M Speciale
Lamborghini SV Roadster
Carrera GT GT3RS Viper ACR
Bentayga 69z28 Healey
