FF Extras

Well hopefully I'll have an update tomorrow on her arrival; depending on which auto transport company the dealer chooses.

Some questions:

Floor mats - Weather tech? What about rear mats and a cargo liner do they have those?

Radar Detector/Jammer - I had the Passport 9500ci with laser jammer, have read the reviews onkp40's product and am leaning towards that.

Clear bra to protect the paint?

Hoping to get her by next Friday the 15th as I have a meeting in Cleveland and the drive from Rochester NY to Cleveland could be lots of fun; speaking of we got 6 inches of snow last night!!!

Appreciate the feedback, I'm more excited about this one then i was of the 612 which was my first Ferrari!!!

Ceramic coating / clear bra after a lot of research.

Cquartz Finest - full body wheels calipers installer is excellent at paint correction and application. No need to go into other brands but this was IMO the best combination of product / installer.

Clear Bra - Xpel Ultimate 2nd best.

Suntek - 1st choice but the closest installer is 5 hours can not get him scheduled for 4 weeks. Smoother film may tear off the Xpel and have Suntek installed. Only downside of Suntek is less warranty if that matters.

Radar - need to dig into this but depending how serious you want to get 4k for a passport system.

Sticking with factory mats on really bad days it's staying home plus my office is 1 mile from the house.

I have had a few cars - you should be excited! The 612 was nice but it's no FF not even close.

Fast comfortable gorgeous great sound interior is 10x better than I thought good stereo only downside it gets a ton of attention. Drove it about 50 miles last Sunday then to dinner with rear passengers everyone was comfortable and huge smiles. My thought was to pick up a used F12 later this summer I have scratched that the FF is that good.

It's in for a paint correction detail ceramic clear bra spa week.

Thanks a million; just talked to the local CQuartz Finest dealer, they also do suntek clear bras.

I'm leaning towards getting car mats, weather tech most likely.

I have the passport 9500ci in my 612; but leaning towards KP40 after reading all the reviews.

Decided to ultimately pass on warranty, she just came off of warranty 6/15; underwent the Ferrari 101 inspection which I received.

That's great will look into KP40. I would do the same with your FF the one thing that happened which is now funny thought the LED steering wheel lights were broke - turns out there is a on /off function.

One thing that is funny it delivers you the seat belt forward so when in a suit it's really nice. Today got in the car and was waiting for the seat belt delivery that never happened.

You will be extremely happy with the FF - all the negative stuff posted is just wrong and it's never from an owner.

Congrats beautiful.

Paint correction - amazing difference.

Left side is smooth brighter deeper vs right side a mess.

Doug, I have seen comparisons of Xpel vs. Suntek, Suntek is less stain resistant to bugs etc. I have been very happy with Xpel.

Glad you loaded her up already, it does handle 4 people surprisingly well. Habsy showed us how good the audio system is when you use high quality recordings on an SD card. Try it out with your favorite tunes.

I too would like some nice winter mats. I keep the one's in my Panamera TT in year round. Also looking for a nice cargo area mat, and a dash cover to keep the leather nice in hot weather.

FF has a a full leather boot even the full sized spare is wrapped in leather it's ridiculous so mats all around might be a good idea.

Thinking ordering alcantara all around.

Finally got the car back today will post pictures - when I went to the garage had other keys and decided to take the FF what a great machine.

Saw today on Ebay Weathertech makes all weather matts for the FF. Also saw on Fchat that Andrew makes leather diamond quilted leather mats also, claims these are "all weather" but don't have the lips on them.

WT's were around $450 I think.

Now to find a big black blanket for the trunk. ?

I decided to go with the WT floor matts. Sw the ones you mentioned on Ferrari Chat; just don't see those being all weather.

Izzy can you post Andrew's - not on fchat.

I don't have diamond stitching - so they won't work but be nice to see perhaps he could make a Daytona style.

Andrews mats in the 16M - they clean up well still look brand new after years.

Mark there are lots of Ferrari blankets - prefer Andrew make something custom to go around the spare.

Just remove the spare and put it in a bag. It's hurting your performance when you go up against those super fast 458's!

Here you go, the rest are on a2dnw's Instagram page. Follow him. You will see just how bad Ferrari's paint is, now was.
