Importing a Classic (25+ years old)

Does anyone know if a historic/classic car needs to still be fitted with day time running lights? I am thinking 77-78 model year

Thanks

Brett

DRL for older vehicles

I have heard that cars older than 15 years do not need them. Not sure if that is from the date DRL waas made manditory but I think any pre 80's car would be exempt. Check with DMV.

Suggest you PM "NightLife", he has imported 2 cars from the US into Canada in the last several years.

Just wondering about costs of importing a newer vehicle such as a 2002-2004 360? Can anyone with experience provide an estimate of what it would take over the actual cost of the vehicle as a percentage. I'm thinking Canadian customs with charge duty as it is a foreign car coming into Canada, GST at the border, then PST when registering it. Cost of DRL conversion, authorized by Ferrari Canada? Thanks.
