Daytona coupe motor.

Just starting to dismantle a Daytona motor. The car is going under a complete restore. I will have more pictures up soon.

Alex- Looks like a nice early car. At least I do not see any headrests unless the seats are removed.

Daytona engines were such simple and elegant pieces of machinery. Just beautiful, even with the Webers covered by the big, black crackle air intake.

We had the interior all redone and the bolts will be coded in the proper colour for the year of the car.

Placed the engine on a run stand and started the motor. Setting up the carbs , motors runs great.
