Rain in the forecast, but if it isn't pouring, I'll be at City Dock.
If it's really wet, I'll drive one of the BMWs.

Default I support my brother!

I heard through the grapevine that there was some miff given your way from some woman lambasting you about wanting to go back to City Dock. You did create this thing long ago and there will always be people wanting to take credit for something they didn't do. I have been traveling a bunch and need to get TR out of storage and join you. Keep the faith Bro and I will be there for you. BTW, who was the nasty email letter from?

Barb's girlfriend. She didn't know what she was talking about re: who actually started Cars and Coffee Annapolis.

No one "owns" any Cars and Coffee and I am not one to dictate when and where people spend their free time. I went to Bestgate for the winter and it was always my intention to return to City Dock after winter, even if it meant being the only car downtown.

I consider the issue closed now. Let the people decide where they want to go on Sundays.

Great turnout, excellent venue and support.
Good chance to see the Pride of Baltimore wooden schooner, a 226' megayacht, and touristas by the dozens enjoying the car lineup. One gentleman in an Alfa cruised by, stopped and joined us.

Very good turnout for the official start of Annapolis C&C - CITY DOCK (mostly foreign and exotics, including a very rare Aston Martin)

BTW, the mega yacht is owned by and Annapolis Yacht Club member and charters for $900,000 per week and costs approx $58,000 to refuel. We can probably put together a group charter if Wetspot would open his wallet.

Or, we could take a cruise on the Harbor Queen (last pic)
The owner is related to Bruce (Audi R8); I also know her and we could probably get a discounted rate for a boat tour

PLEASE READ THIS NOTICE

The National Sailing Hall of Fame is hosting the Annapolis City Fair starting at noon this Sunday.

I spoke to one of the organizers (Lee) who said the first row of meters and the brick wall will be restricted to the event exhibitors.

He said we are welcome to park along the defunct HELL POINT restaurant and stay for the event.

They will promote the fact that some imports and exotics may be on display past noon for those visiting the fair.

I'll go down early (8am) and see if I can tape off and reserve some parking for us.

There should be plenty to see and do this Sunday at the Fair.

Lee suggested next year we organize a car show and they will arrange special parking for us.

It is easier to join them than to fight 'em!

Wetpet can go to the other location.

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Thank you for the email. We are now out of space in the area we have been allocated.

That having been said it would be terrific if you could be at City Dock.

Let me know and we can promote that you will be in the area.

All the best.

You weren't invited to City Dock.

You belong with the Mustang Club anyway. Giddyup.

Weather forecast improving for tomorrow - I plan to be onsite by 0900.

There's a Spring Sailboat show in town so lots to see and do this weekend.

After C&C at City Dock tomorrow I'm heading off at 11am to the SPCA Walk for the Animals in Annapolis.

Meters are free until noon every Sunday.

Had a nice time checking out the boats at City Dock Sailboat Show this weekend and saw a couple of Bruce's designs on display and for sale. The locals and tourists enjoy seeing the cars in addition to the boats and yoga classes.

I also checked out a B&B one block away, winter rates are as low as $59 per night, $149 in-season.

They they have off street, protected parking, and dog friendly! They said they'd love to host a car club Jan-Mar during off season. check it out: http://www.gibsonslodgings.us/

I'm game and think this may appeal to so out-of-towners too!

I plan to be there next weekend, 0900-noon and there are no special events planned by the city next weekend at City Dock.

Looks to be a fantastic day at City Dock Annapolis C&C.

I plan to be there there until noon today to check out the City Fair.

Or, you could show up

I'll have to post some pics of the City Fair (there was plenty of free parking until 11am last Sunday, invited some new people next weekend). Some people showed up at 11am but by then, the area was crowded w/touristas.

I think we are done with boat shows, City Fair, other events for awhile now

Most interesting were some wooden boats from 1880s and a 27' sailboat that sailed around the Americas, single-handed/non-stop, in one year! The sailor must have had a death wish.

A busload of Japanese tourists showed up about the same time as Godzilla.

Chris would have enjoyed that and made funny comments.

GREAT turnout last week, filled the front row along the wall plus some. Added a new Viper and some new Porsches, and an 1100+ HP Ford GT to the event.

A little white horsey showed up a bit later and had to park next to the defunct restaurant.

Early birds (9am) get the primo parking spots.

Should be a great weekend, good weather and no events at city dock planned.

Pics to follow

Expect a good turnout of cars and spectators this Sunday.
It's graduation week at the academy, unusual amount our tourists coupled with Memorial Day weekend.

Had some new cars show up last week: Sinister black Pantera, a fully restored MGB GT, new Jag sedan.

Here's some recent pics
