Barry, do you still plan to visit? I'll let Bruce and a few others know.

Jim, I planned an adult Easter Egg Hunt just for you!
I don't have any other plans, so I think I will come down.

The other pocket, the other pocket. You went diving in the wrong pocket.

Later start time will be nice for those of us who live south of Solomons.

Not sure if I will make it this weekend. Plan is to pull the 350 small block and 5 speed out of the Corvette. Got my new short block and tranny just waiting for heads and rear suspension/differential (end of April hopefully).

I'll keep Al in suspense about what is coming. LOL.

Nice to see the usual suspect today.... at both venues. The LaSalle was exceptional!

I don't know about you guys but two things about the City Dock location for summer works for me:

Later start time (0900) and cheap entertainment. Those of you who are more nocturnal can stop at Bestgate on your way to City Dock.

BTW, I did not realize the meters are free until noon.

Steve, looking forward to seeing you and the 'Vette again.

I heard they will be holding the Corvettes in Annapolis event this year at City Dock.

My apologies to the few of you who were drawn into the over the moon drama this weekend.

Al,

Sorry we did not make it. Slept in Sunday after spending 4 hours on Saturday pulling the engine and transmission out of the Corvette. Hope to have it all reassembled by the end of May but you know how these things go. LOL.

Barb is at Bestgate Road, across from the Annapolis Mall Ed.

I'm trying to draw the exotics/Italian marque and other interesting cars to City Dock where I originated the Cars and Coffee Annapolis. I tried to pattern it after Katie's. You don't see too much Detroit Iron at Katies, but you do at the Burtonsville Holy Donut and now at Bestgate.

City Dock has a later start time than Bestgate location, 0900 (and the meters are free until noon).

This gives people a choice or, they can attend both venues.

We'll head over to Bestgate if there's a special event or flooding at City Dock. Like you said, Bestgate is just another shopping center parking lot, nothing special (but albeit warmer in the winter than City Dock)

I'm not one to dictate where people spend their free time but I do hope to see you at City Dock this summer.

Your breakfast is on me buddy.

You need to have it put together before Corvettes in Annapolis at City Dock this year!

You *might* ask Spencer and James for some help; they could probably use some gas money for the Porsche they've been driving while Scott is in FL.

Nice to see several of the original cast return to City Dock where we originated Annapolis Cars and Coffee.

I missed a few shots of the Audi R8, a beautiful white Gallardo spider, and a few others (sorry).

I'm hoping we make this the location for exotics/and foreign car gathering, much like Katies.

I'm working on some new marketing collateral too.

Thanks for joining us!

We will meet again at City Dock next Sunday, 0900-1100 weather permitting.

Hey everyone (those of you who elected to return to City Dock for the summer location) please get the word out. I'm going to print up new marketing collateral announcing our move.

I also posted on other sites suggesting people come to City Dock after stopping by the Bestgate location so as not to create any hard feelings or confusion. If City Dock is flooded or closed for a special event, simply proceed to the Bestgate location.

Cars and Coffee - Annapolis - Page 9 - 6speedonline.com Forums

I want to brand this an exotics and imports/custom cars gathering much like Katies and not turn it into an American muscle car event to drawn a finer distinction between the choices people have with the spare time. I'd like to encourage Ducati bike fans as well because, when I first started going to City Dock alone, it was to hang out with the Ducati crowd.

I want to make it clear that I do not "own" any event. As someone told me, we are all adults with free choice as to how and where we spend our time. I simply chose to return to City Dock for the Summer-Fall season. I'm okay if I'm the only person to do so.

Peace out.

Nice to see everyone playing well together.

Also nice to not have half a dozen asshats with nothing to contribute giving you grief for stealing the thunder.... just sayin.

+ 1 It's a big tent Jim

We have even encouraged Petwetter to join us and intentionally moved the time to 9am-11am to better accommodate his schedule (and for those who want to start the day at 8am at the Bestgate Road location and then head to City Dock for cheap entertainment).
