Default Radnor 2011

Radnor is this weekend. who is going? My Dad, David Carte, the Mondial and Marriott's Talbot that just came from Pebble Beach are going up on Saturday. Since I am too cheap to get a hotel room, I will be driving up crack o' dawn on Sunday morning.

Anyone else coming up?

and since I don't want to hijack other threads, here is what we did last weekend . . . .

Default nice!

That car will be beautiful one day.

I'm in for Radnor, judging again. Hopefully the weather will hold up.

I too am traveling up for the day. I want to get up there by 7 at the latest.

Great classes this year. There will be some wonderful motorcycles on display as well.

If you are within 3 hours of this event, you should go!

regards

ken

Hi all,

The constant rain storms of the past three and a half days let up for about fifteen minutes at noon today which coincided perfectly with David Cartes arrival with the trailer. Fired up the little blue car and loaded it on the trailer. As we closed the rear door the rains returned, thank you rain gods. I am told that the Radnor Hunt site is hilly and well sodded so that mud should not be a problem on Sunday for the Concours. And if you can believe the weatherman it is supposed to be better weather. Bright and early Sunday morning we shall see.

Best regards,

I don't know much about the cars that will be there, but one of the organizers told me that it will be a special day for motorcycle guys; over 50 historically significant bikes will be there, as well as Nobby Clark, perhaps the greatest race bike mechanic that ever lived; wrenched for Mike Hailwood and Kenny Roberts among others.

I'll try to get a short list of notable cars.

I'm gonna do my best to attend this year. Can we pay at the gate?

Dear Jim,

Looks like tickets at the gate are available according to this site:
Radnor Hunt Concours d'Elegance

See you there,

Best regards

With the little blue car in the background, the spectators and the dog checking the sky for rain, BryanP (ever the spotter) is checking for serial numbers and pedigree...
