The TR was running a bit lean on left bank so Richard (Competizione) made adjustments. He also suggested I run two cans of BG 44K in a tank of gas. BG 44K additive retails ~$25 per can. I found it for $19./can at a local VW dealer (my local BMW dealer no longer stocks BK products) Richards suggested running one can of BG 44K per quarter in the TR and 360. I hope to drive the TR when the monsoon season ends but it's already running much better. Here's some pics taken at Competizione Thanks much Richard & Fernando! I used B44 in my Audi before with good results. I've also used the Lucas stuff and had similar results at a much better price. Not being properly schooled in the way that these products do their job leaves me to wonder. Are they the same thing? Is one better than the other?

For me it is a case of simple trust. Richard has been working on my F-cars for well over a decade. He (and Fernando) have been very patient with me. They explains many things, provide some great tips, take pictures of the cars while being serviced, and they stand behind their work. I reckon that someone has looked at the US-mandated MSDs and done a comparative analysis and most likely posted performance results on the Web. I'll post my unscientific experience when I empty the tank of gas in the TR. 360 & TR Cars & Coffee at CITY DOCK ANNAPOLIS 9am-noon Every Sunday F-CHAT Exile now living the Ferrari Life. |

| Spent all day with Phil and his Enzo at the warbird thing.... Amazing automobile and a generous owner. You should have been there.

| I didn't ask... but he gave rides to a couple of others. Perhaps next time.
