Drive and Show Sat, Frederick/Purcerville Free!!!

A friend of mine put this drive together. Everyone is meeting at his shop in Frederick and then driving to the Cruise in Purcerville. It's a once a year show and is supposed to be a good one plus you don't have to get up at 7AM! You can come and go from Purcerville whenever you want and no admission fee.

My friend has some country roads staked out that go through Point of Rocks somehow? I can ask him? Chris's Restoration is in the country too near Frederick.

The Purcerville cruise is a pretty big deal from what I'm hearing. They only do this one once a year.

I may be interested in this. Frederick Md is about an hour drive from my place. How far away is the show from the meeting place at Classic Restorations?

Yeah the route through Point of Rocks is great. To answer the above question, I'd say plan for at least another 1-1.5 hours from Frederick. I looked at the pictures of the event from the past few years and saw very few Ferrari's and really no imports in general. Mostly American classics and muscle cars.

Purcellville is only 30 minutes or less from Frederick going through Point of Rocks.

Google maps says around 25 minutes from Frederick to Purcerville.

Chris's Restoration is actually SW of Frederick in a very rural area. First time I went there I was sure GPS was taking me to the wrong place. Nice country roads surrounded by large farms.

Yep...sorry I was using the airport as the starting point...would make it around 50 minutes from there.
