Saturday Drive and Lunch - March 5

Short Notice, but in the spirit of driving...

On Saturday (March 5) morning, you are all invited to join a bunch of us at Tysons II in the parking lot corner to the left (near PF Changs).

We are driving down to the Inn at Willow Grove (http://theinnatwillowgrove.com) for lunch, which is one of the most amazing places to get away near DC. The chef is putting together a special sampler menu for our group. We are meeting between 9:30am -10am and then leaving Tysons at 10am. It's about an 85 mile drive from there to Willow so we should get there around noon and then a couple hours for lunch and then drive back after. The weather is calling for the cars to be free. :-)

If you want to come, just meet us at Tysons. I put a picture of the Inn below. It's really an amazing place and the owner is also a car enthusiast.

I didn't see this till too late but I did get the Fcar out for a nice drive this afternoon!

Thanks to Ben, a professional photographer ( passiontolive ) for organizing the drive. If you want to join the April drive to Willow, just Email Ben directly at his website above. I told him I would post this event on Ferrari Life. Here is Ben's Email to me:

"Saturday's drive to the Inn at Willow Grove (http://innatwillowgrove.com) and lunch was an absolute blast. It felt so good to get the cars out and on the road again after the winter. Not to mention just amazing food and the beautiful surroundings at Willow Grove. We ended up with an Aston Martin DBS, an Aston V12 Vantage, a Lamborghini Gallardo and LP560, a Ferrari 430 and 360, a Noble M400 and two M3s. Impressively the entire group managed to stay together on the 85-mile drive down without once getting separated. It was a great group of cars and people. Great thanks goes out to Dave at Willow for the royal treatment. Couldn't have asked for more. The next drive to Willow for exotics will be in April and I'm also working with Dave there to plan a bigger event to celebrate the owners/drivers and the cars for late May/June."
