I was told to expect a silver Porsche 914 in a few weeks by someone we all know and love.

Stay tuned.

Not all of them, that's why this one is so special and the reason you don't see many on the road. I haven't seen one in ~ten years.

I am looking forward to seeing it soon. It's a fun car that won't break the piggy bank. I should have bought one in lieu of the Boxster I owned. I'd probably still have it today.

I did think the 914/6 was an interesting car though.

I think the age of little tiny sports cars was cool (TR-3A, Midget, X1/9, Abarth, 914).

For GPS purposes, is there an address and what time does it generally run?

Thanks.

That could be applied to numerous models of the Ferrari heritage as well Ed.

Buying a Ferrari (or several) is probably the mostly about the romance.
You wine her, dine her and then get .... with costly repair bills.

Love is blind, and to each his own Ed.

I still appreciate the smaller cars like the 914, TR6, TR7, TVR, Opel GT, Lotus Europa, et al and find them to be interesting cars to me personally.

Good to see everyone.

At the rate the event is growing, the Lambos might eventually outnumber the Ferraris.

Chris - I absolutely love the way you've carved the Pumpkin. Sweet! Post pics so all can see.

I have plans next so it's very likely I won't be able to join the group and see that sweet 914 Porsche that's due to show up.

After C&C, at 10am this Sunday (MAR 13), a group of us are leaving City Dock in an awesome caravan and heading to a cigar store/lounge for a private opening: Chesapeake Cigar & Tobacco Company | Voted Best Cigar Bar In The Annapolis Area!

You won't be disappointed, as you can plainly see.

The size of the group attending however, does matter.
Come one, come all. Rumor has it Charlie Sheen may even show up - WINNING!

BTW, Ed is invited too.

This is the URL to the Cigar Event following C&C on Sunday. Should be an interesting caravan from City Dock. Just follow the smoke trail and your nose.

Ed, perhaps you need to adopt another vice like cigar smoking.

Have fun in FL and be sure to post pics. The boat splashes next month, see you soon.

BYOB At Chesapeake Cigars after C&C

"Barbara is free to bring her own alcohol to the store for personal consumption inside the shop. Please do not take open beverages outside on the sidewalks and in the parking lot to drink. You must be 21 or older to drink and we will card if we suspect you are not. Please exercise responsibility in your drinking."

Barbara - that means Bloody Mary's sans donuts this weekend!

Sit down, shut up, light up and drink!
