Default The Simeone Collection

I'm posting this here in the VA-MD-DC area forum, because this is an easy drive away, and well worth the effort to go. My friends in the Philadelphia Lotus club organized this, and I'm sure any club can contact this organization. It's located in a warehouse near the Philadelphia airport.

While the museum is now open to the public during the week, I strongly recommend having your club arrange for a weekend special session, with the guided tour. The tour took about 2.5 hours to go through the 65-70 car collection, and was interesting to both hard-core car people, and my wife, who is less car-crazy.

Below is a sampling of what you'll see.

Default The Simeone Collection - Part 2

A few more pictures. We paid $17 apiece for admissions - I think the price depends on how large the group is. We had 50 attendees, and our club arranged a catered lunch, which was paid for by a sponsor of our club.

By the way, this guy loves Alfas!

All of his prewar era cars are noteworthy. FCA-MAR took a tour up there a couple of years ago. It was a rare treat. Love the all original Cobra Daytona, as well as the Ferrari 365 P.

Current: 85' GTS QV

most of us have been there done that. but it's the kind of place you can go back to many times. He also takes the cars out in the back parking lot and runs them around for the public. i believe it's once a month. Thanks for the reminder. Hadn't thought about it in awhile. Dr. Simeone is also a really nice guy. Have met him at several shows.
