Lotus Picnic, 09/18/10

Each year, Kevin McGovern and his wife Denise hold an event at their house. They invite their car friends. Kevin owns several Lotus, as well as MGs, and an Aston Martin DB9. He seems to have friends in every exotic car club.

As always, it was a good time, with great people and amazing cars!

Always a good time. Great weather, great cars, great food, nice people. And the drive from Annapolis was a blast! Thanks Kevin!

I couldn't make the event this year, major bummer. I had a collage all made from last year's event and ready to hand out. My buddy, Jeremy, with the Panoz had the collages and was on his way to the event when he broke down on the Beltway. Luckily, he just managed to get beyond the jersey walls by the construction and got flatbedded back to VA. Bummer that he never made it to the party with the collages. If anybody wants one, hit me up next time you see me.

Also, I would like to get individual shots of all the cars, should anyone have that, so I can make a collage for next year's party.

Thanks to Kevin for hosting what has to be one of the finest gatherings and parties in the region! Really enjoyed seeing the Europa - wish I could have afforded one in the early 70s!

Is that the same grasshopper from the Donut?!

Denise and Kevin have managed once again to out do themselves and continue to make this my favorite event of the year!
