Yes, it did rain, but that did not deter too many participants. (Unlike Ed, who decided to wimp out!) We ended up getting 88 out of 100. Mostly the real old Studebakers didn't show up as planned. I was only missing one car out of my classes. The rain stopped around 10:30 or so. There were even hints of blue sky. But, it held off just enough to allow us to judge without raincoats, which was welcomed. Dr Simeone brought 2 cars, a 375 and a pre war alfa that probably totaled the value of the rest of the field together. I talked to him briefly and pleaded my case to have the plastic removed from his 2 vehicles. That happened quickly and the we were able to get true glimpses of their inherent beauty. Dew motor cars brought 2 vehicles, Charlie's immaculate boxer and a phenomenal 60 Aston Lightweight GT that just finished a multi year restoration. Both cars took home significant awards, much to their credit. I have only begun to go thru my pictures. My day started at 5 and the feet attached to my legs are less then happy. regards ken |

Cool photos Ken, I'm disappointed I wasn't around to come to the show. Looks like some really great cars were there, thanks for sharing them.
