Default Screwpile Photos

Hey guys,
Sadly I was unable to get on a boat for Screwpile to shoot, but I did go to find out the results and shot some photos of both Al's and Cyndi's Ferrari 360's.

I cannot insert images so please follow the link.

I like the second picture. That would make an awesome framed poster.

Sorry it has taken me a while to respond, havent had internet for a few days.

Wetpet- Thanks I will make sure to get rid of the tags next time.

Pete- It would make a pretty cool poster but I want to re-shoot it with better lighting and location.

Barcheta and bst1- The last picture is of Cyndi's car.

Hey Doc, when it rains it pours. Richard may offer you frequent flyer miles soon for your repeat biz.

It may be time to raise the car insurance, or get the brakes replaced (or both?)

How did you capture/produce a black and white photo yet still get the taillights in color?

Way cool Spencer.

Come on wetpet you werent suppossed to tell him my secret! But really it is the magic of photo editing software. Just use the brush tool to desaturate parts of the picture that you want black and white. Im glad you like them though and hope to shoot some cooler stuff of the car in the future.

PS
You missed a very exciting Gov Cup.

Spencer, did you you use Photoshop?

Nice work.

Maybe this old coot can learn a few tricks.

I used Adobe lightroom which is very basic photo editing software. I cannot afford photoshop right now even though it would help out a lot.

Fantastic looking shots. I would be really interested in knowing the iso/fstop and shutter settings. I'd love to have some done or try my hand myself at some point.

Im glad to here that you are interested in photography. To find the iso, fstop, shutter speed, and everything else you can access the exif file on my flickr which is linked above. (Click on actions at the top left of the photo and then exif info). In a situation like that with so little time and changes in light I bracketed which is why the shutter speed changes so much. Also I would love to do a shoot together.

wetpet- There arent any viruses that go along with the copy you have right?

sorry, only have the virus laden copy. chesterfield, if you shoot in raw, you can change most of those parameters after the fact. so the original #'s really won't help you much as most photo's have been heavily modified by either the camera's internal software or post production software like Photoshop.

Of course it has to be virus laden . And when you are shooting in RAW you can change a lot because there is no data loss unlike jpeg. However you are limited to changing things such as white balance and what not. You cannot change the shutter speed, fstop, and some other things in post.

Spencer, come to the club for the event and talk to the manager about posting some pics on the Yacht Club site. Good way to get your name (and work) out there.

Guys, Spencer is still in high school and developing his craft. Thanks for the words of encouragement to him.
