I have logged many an hour in other people's F40s (once even at the track!) Most of that time was spent trying to keep from going nuts and letting them off the leash. It's not an easy car to drive in anything but hot and dry and I could not imagine that a $16K deposit would bring any owner any level of comfort for what Joe Schmoe is gonna do to her when he wrecks...
