World Record (OT)

I have a hard time believing that Wet Pet missed out in helping set the world record at Italia at Zandvoort. To beat the current record of the most Fiats moving in a convoy, Fiat Group Automobiles had to manage to get more than 500 models riding on the track. An extra challenge was that it couldn't just be any Fiat models, but it they all had to be a Fiat 500. With 676 Fiat 500s on the track, a new world record was set.

Just think it could have been 677...

Further at 11 feet times 677 cars plus a few inches for clearance, they had to pick a track longer than 1 1/2 miles.

That had to be a sight to see! I'm impressed they had that many Fiat's running simultaneously, I wonder what the mechanic to Fiat ratio was.

I do look forward to seeing modern Fiat 500 Abarths in the States though, they're cool looking cars.

if there had been an accident, it would have been the most adorable pile up in history as well. Sorry i missed it but trying to get 6 500's to start and move at the same time is a magic trick. forget 676

Exactly what I was thinking! But being the huge Fiat fan I am, I would have loved to have seen that.

Z, i'm glad someone here cruizes the gay sites. That is just one more reason to not buy a new 500c. Like darren once told me, my 500 is so gay it's not gay anymore.

I saw that clip on TV a few weeks ago. Now I may not dress and act quite appropriately when in public sometimes but this is extra special.

I haven't even seen something the strange in Vegas..well maybe but I don't recall 100% so it doesn't count.
