Hello Ferrari Lifers, In order to better spread the knowledge of proper detailing and reconditioning techniques and practices, I was thinking about starting a D.I.Y. class to be held once a month on a Sunday. My thoughts are to limit it to about 2-3 cars at a time. What I'm thinking is to give the participants a quick overview of product knowledge, terminology, proper technique and equipment use. From there, I would basically walk each person through the process that I have come up with to detail your own car. You would be given access to all my equipment and products, and be taught why and how each thing is used properly. Is this something someone who owns a high end car like a Ferrari or Lamborghini would be interested in, or are most people just looking to have it done by somebody? Please share your thoughts. That's something I'd love to do - but on the wrong side of the Atlantic! I would imagine though that the normal Joe Public would not be too interested in learning the finer art of detailing their MPV. Still I'm sure there are enough car nuts out there to make up numbers.... Good luck with it if you proceed. Hey, if you want to get the best detail, sometimes you gotta fly across the ocean to get it :-) Haha, just kidding. I know people on your side of the world are years ahead of us. That's why I'm asking and trying to gauge where and who I should market it to. I know that people may not want it for their every day drivers, but how far up the chart do I go before I hit the point where people just want it done for them. I know in California there is a company that offers DIY classes and they do very well, but that's California and not Connecticut. Oh well, we'll see. Keep those responses coming!
