Default Rams - as of today are now a football team!

For the first time in 3 years - stimulated by our Rams.

We welcome Jeff Fisher - it's HUGE

It's long term ... nice to have a billionaire as an owner

that's a great move. hopefully they a) let him finish out the contract so the team has so stability and time to build, and b) aren't in LA when the contract is over

Best move to date - how much fun did Fisher (whore) have holding an auction between two billionaires.

There was a glitch for a short time - I believe it had to do with a long term plan and the fact he went with the Rams after a lot of discussion says ...

ok ok ... I have no idea - but sure hope it's the Rams staying

Going tomorrow night - sitting in the Joe B foundation tickets.

Gotta love separation

Scott ... first of all are you going to the Ferrari event?

Second of all - the Rams just became legit after three years of Mizzery ...

which event?

and yeah, the rams definitely added some fire power today, jeff fisher is probably the best name out on the coaching market, do i expect much next year? maybe not. but, come year 2 i think we may be playoff bound

It'll be interesting to see what Fisher does as far as bringing in assistants, there are rumors that Mike Martz has been approached to be the OC, but I've got a funny feeling Kroenke may put his foot down on that one

Jeff posted the FCA event

There will be a lot of trades - my guess is he already had his staff approved.

It will be up to the City to keep Kronke happy - if they don't we can write off the NFL for a decade.

If the city and county don't merge don't be surprised if the county makes a serious run at a stadium.

Rams stay and either a new stadium is built or a ton of concessions

Second Kronke brings in the NBA - maybe a dual stadium down the road.

Off of Earth City Expressway, right by where Rams Park currently is would be perfect for a new stadium in the county.

As far as the FCA event, I'm not a member as of right now, I always hate being "that guy". You can always bring me as your date though Doug,

He's a hard nosed no bs coach, as a Chargers fan I hated playing his Titans teams. Many think he put a hit out on Merriman's knee but that's just out of fear and respect for a no nonsense head coach.

We were supposed to fire Norv, and your new coach was high on my list of possible replacements.

Well it will be interesting to see what happens - like I said should have offered to have it at my house.

It's not inconceivable - Fisher plays demanding football and his players love it.

I am still in awe over his decision to come to St Louis.

Gotta give Kronke some due - Fisher had a lot of options and money IMO was a small part in the big picture of Fishers decision.

He's the big coach signing of the offseason, only outdone by Cowher if he chooses to work again, which he's said many times he won't this year.

I don't know what the deal with Gruden is either, but I'd take Fisher over Gruden. You guys have a lot of pieces to the puzzle, I guess you'll have to wait and see what they do with Bradford, real strange issue there.

Agree 100% - Bradford was getting mashed and to be honest we lack playmakers.

When we were at the top - we had Holt Bruce Warner and Faulk with a strong line.

Last year we had so many guys on the IR list I am surprised Bradford didn't just sit out the season after his injuries.

I was just surprised to hear rumors of him possibly being dealt, young promising QB's aren't usually thrown into that type of conversation so quick.

Yept - which is why I think he played in those last games.

Think he wanted to prove he wants to play and win - looked like a leader at the end of the season.
