Spent my flights today photoshopping some recent shots...I love how the STS shot came out..

Note: these are all small versions of the file so the compressed quality makes the shots less sharp and vivid.

Nice shots, as usual. You're in Grand Cayman? You have to go snorkeling with sting rays, and go visit Hell - a stupid little tourist trap, but one of those things you have to do.

Yup! Don't worry, done both of those things. We used to come here a lot..haven't been in 3-4 years until now. It is currently raining like a Vietnamese typhoon. Waves today were 4-6 foot swells with 15mph winds, and it apparently is supposed to stay like that the entire time we are here. So much for the typical perfectly flat Cayman waters...

Thank you! That pic was pretty much all color / light editing...everything was there, just needed to be enhanced.

Peter- You have St Louis confused with Chicago.

Next thing you will be doing is comparing Cricket to the sport of watching paint dry,

lol, to be honest I don't disagree. the NFL has become the "No Fun League" in lots of ways, including the excessive amount of gear and restrictions on contact (basically the QB is untouchable now). not sure what to do about clock management without fundamentally changing the game, though.

I've never gotten into most of the European sports but rugby is intriguing. it was big when I was in college on the east coast too. I think there's actually room for rugby to make some headway into the US market at a pro/am-professional level if marketed properly.

Watching paint dry is far more exciting.

I love sports, probably a lot more than I should, but I just do not get cricket - I've watched a few matches before, it's similar to baseball, but then, not really,

And yes. NFL stands for the no fun league. But then again, I won't be challenging a lineman to a fight anytime soon

I used to play Rugby at Forest Park - playing goalie in soccer all I ever wanted to do is hit someone hard. Rugby cured my desire when a 245 lb beast could catch me from behind and the very next play mash me all over again and at 20 I was 180 6'2 and damn fast.

Rugby players and Basketball players IMO are the two top groups of athletes at their finest.

Both athletes are freaks of nature!

Gotta love it when a spotter's thread turns into a sports thread,

There is justice in this world - Hitch won coach of the year, and Doug Armstrong won GM of the year tonight

That was well deserved!

All anyone has to do is take a look at before and after - the Blues put together one hell of a season after they showed up.

Now sign Langenbruner because the putz who was buying my house on Pillsbury just backed out!

I mentioned it on here before, but anyone who doesn't believe that a coach can be the "sixth man" just has to look at the past Blues season.

Damn - that sucks Doug. If you need a house sitter, let me know, just make sure the neighbors have enough grass for grazing.
