Great game indeed! Cardinals slept with a huge grin while the Rangers were tossing and turning punching their pillows and gasping for air. Game 7 following game 6 - one of the top five sporting events in the history of sports. That was just INSANE. Even better for me as a Cardinal's fan but I have to think that any true baseball fan (even if you like the Rangers) has got to admit that it was truly epic. Right before that last mighty swing from Freese, the camera did kind of a close-up of him from the on deck circle along 1st base side. Freese took this deep breath and big exhale. Right at that moment, I thought "He's going to murder this next pitch"...no lie. Did anyone else think the same thing? |

Scott no argument here. Sandy I also thought Freese would perform the walk off homer. They should have switched pitchers Freese had him at Hello Brian ... not sure if you know this story. Pujols after the first year with Tony handed Tony a picture of the two and asked Tony to sign the photograph. Tony responded with - let me think about it and I will let you know tomm. Next day Tony handed Albert back the photograph - it was signed by Tony stating ... To Albert the best payer I have ever coached! Tony knows baseball!
