Default September 17 - Italian Fest Parade in Collinsville, IL

All,

The Missouri & Southern Illinois FCA Chapter has been invited to participate in the Italian Fest Parade on September 17 in Collinsville, IL. The invitation from the organizers is expanded to include all Italian cars so anyone with a Ferrari (club & non-club member), Maserati, Lambo, Alfa, vintage Fiat, and etceterinis are also encouraged to participate.

Free - just show up with the car.

Get the car there by 3:00 pm - parade starts at 4:00 pm.

Congregation point is on North Guernsey St. between Main and Clay. Enter from Clay since Main will be closed for the parade.

Jeff was hoping you would show up!

Are you going to Ferrari's on the Plaza at Kemp?

I feel a lot more comfortable posting here and hope you stick around.

We are all going to the Senna Showing in the U-city Loop Sept 2nd.

Hope the rest of the gang shows up soon - be nice to have us all in one place!

We expect/hope to be at the Kemp, Italian Fest Parade and then the Columbus Day Parade.

Knew you were over here so expected you to see this event notice. Want to make sure that everyone fully understands that all the other Italian, but non-Ferraris, are invited to participate. Personally don't know any of the Lambo, Maser, Alfa, etc. crowds but some of you may.

Attending the Senna sounds real good, so far.

Dead project in Thailand just got life with settlement talks scheduled in LA at the end of next week. May lead to a revival of the project and then 12 months of commuting to Bangkok again so that could disturb my attendance at events.

Other than the 3 Fiat 500s from the local dealer we were the only Italian car that showed up. None of the Ducati group attended either.

Weather has been tough - but we needed the rain if that helps.

Balloon races barely made it ... the Energizer who normally wins was unable to get lift.

The Ducati guys were probably too busy harassing other motorists on the STL highways with the rest of the bikes in town yesterday
