Default Historic Races : Infineon 2009

The 23rd Historic Races were about a weeklong event in Sonoma, my home town. I live only a block or so from the 'square' so can see many up front without tickets or worrying about a place to park.

However, the Infineon area had a very nice venue. UP FRONT with some of the finest examples you'll ever see. AND, Yes they race. Very nice.

Took a bunch of pick. Had with one's entry anything from Oysters, Pate, Wines, Seafood [the Ahi Sandwitches and Scallop Cevice was excellent] along with more common fair like Ribs, which I skipped...couldn't get enough of the seafood and wine

Enjoy some quick pics.

[PS TOok the 456, but didn't get special 'seating' even this last pic shows how an expensive Ferrari can sit in the 'low' class zone ]

Some other to pose were
Frazer Nash
OLD MGs
LaConda
Vaas?
Few 3-wheelers - Morgans
various Mini Coopers, of old-new
few/couple exotics like F40 etc.

stay tuned?

Default BUMP : Historic Races : Infineon 2010

And THIS time I will be there, where as I didn't want to go for the Ferrari Challenge to see only, basically, 430s.

This weekend June 5-6. Not sure what day I'll be there, and probably bringing either the 456 or the Truck, as we had to park way up the way last time and too dusty.

$40/day or $60/entire weekend, http://www.infineonraceway.com/ticke...orts_festival/

RIK

the more I look at that pic, I'm thinking it might be a fake. Something not right about the wheels especially.

thanks NZ, I do have tons of pics, REAL models...but need to resize them for here. So many wonderful ones....hope to take more this weekend.

Default Sat and Sunday

will def. be there Sat. as the Lotus 11 will be racing and can't wait to see how it holds up after the rebuild.

Hope to see anyone there.

She'll have either the Dirty Girl's cap or Ferrari and me a camera.
