On Sunday June 6th we will be having our 2nd Annual Cavallinos at The Paddock a Ferrari Charity Car Show. This is a great event and 100% of the car registration goes to benefit the Juvenile Diabetic Research Foundation. Last year we had 50 Ferrari's here and everyone had fun listening to music, sampling wine and food. The show will be from 11 to 4pm. We will also be offering Wine and Food sampling from 12 to 2pm. Car registration will be $50 (100% goes to the JDRF) and the Wine and Food sampling is $25ea. If you register your car we will offer Wine and Food sampling tickets for a discounted price of $15ea. (limit 2 per paid registration). Admission is free to spectators. Guys heres some photos from today's Ferrari event in Danville California - I exhibited "Scudi" as you will see from 3 of the photos below - Plenty of other nice cars were present, weather was fantastic and we had a nice crowd by the afternoon!

Derm, Really wish I could have made it. Was up in Tahoe for a 100 mile bike ride around the lake. Next time! The Scud looks awesome! Weren't you just debating whether to get the Scud or not a few weeks ago? Did I miss something in another thread. Congrats! |

I went to the 458 viewing at FOSV and when I saw the Scuderia next to the 458 I realized what I wanted, so I bought it then and there. As I said in the other thread, I really like the stripped out look and feel of the scuderia and stradale - for me at least it is the essence of Ferrari! The car is like a bomb, it's actually scary fast which is a surprise to me as I'm used to very fast cars.. There is so much acceleration that it's really unusable on any road, even on the freeway the torque is so great that you get launched forward amazing fast in almost any gear with a flick of the accelerator. You zip past the road speed limit without realizing so I'm already worried for my license :-) I'm sure u know the feeling haven driven one in Switzerland. All in all the best fun and the best car I have ever owned without a doubt.
